No personal account required
You do not need to give us your name or email address to use the app. We use identifiers for your app installation and, when available, your Peblar charge point to recognize the installation and provide the service. These identifiers are not your name, but records linked to them are not fully anonymous.
Your password stays on your device
We do not receive or store your charger password on our servers. The app saves it securely on your device so you can reconnect. Scanning the password label happens on your device; camera images are not uploaded to us.
Analytics help us improve the product
We use app usage information to understand which features people use and improve Peblar Companion. This can include app openings, visited screens, button actions and feature settings, linked to the installation and charge point identifiers. The service also receives app and operating-system versions, device model, app language and information such as notification and iCloud availability. Analytics do not include your charger password, charger address, serial number, camera images, Apple Account details or the contents of fields you type into.
Your sessions and iCloud
The app saves captured session details on your device and can synchronize them with your private iCloud storage. This includes session times, energy and graph samples, plus an identifier that associates the history with your charger. Passwords and connection addresses are not part of that history. Apple provides iCloud under its own terms and privacy policy.
When you contact us
If you email support, we receive the contact details and information you choose to include so we can respond. Do not include charger passwords or other secrets. App usage analytics are separate from messages you choose to send us.
Removing data
Use “Forget this peblar” in the app to remove the saved charger connection and its password. This does not delete archived sessions or iCloud history. You can manage iCloud data through Apple’s iCloud storage settings. For questions about data held by us, or to request access, correction or deletion, contact support@rwzdoorn.com.
This website
This website does not add advertising trackers or analytics scripts. Opening download or support links takes you to the linked service, where its own privacy practices apply. Hosting and network providers may process information needed to deliver the website.
